Podcasts grow as alternative media form

Sheletta Brundidge could have used TV, blogs, YouTube, books, radio or newspapers. Instead, she chose podcasts. Her mission was to present the stories of black people, and she concluded that podcasts were best way to do it. "Everyone is making podcasts," said Brundidge, a Cottage Grove radio producer who launched seven podcasts on Feb. 1.
